6.10.12 – grizzly falls (kings canyon/sequoia)

I have a hard time considering this a hike. truthfully, its a park-the-car-and-walk-700-feet-to-the-waterfall. There’s honestly more exercise in holding your head up to stare at the majestic waterfall that marks the termination of Grizzly Creek. That being said, it is AWESOME and everyone should stop in and see it when you’re in King’s Canyon.

GPS link (for driving reference)

getting there: take 180 into King’s Canyon/Sequoia. It’s 20 bucks for a car or free with a parks pass. Follow it to a few miles before Cedar Grove. Parking lot is on the left and clearly marked. Trail is literally paved. If you get lost here, I’d love to hear the story.
